The University of Edinburgh and the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission also offers a couple of Joint Scholarships for students from developing Commonwealth countries. Awards normally cover tuition fees, return travel, and living expenses. In certain cases, there are additional allowances for books and clothes. Allowances may also be paid towards the cost of an accompanying spouse and/or children.
