一些名校以及相關熱門專業的申請會要求提交GRE成績，有的不強製要求提交，但是提交後能提高申請的競爭力。
1. 牛津大學
對於GMAT成績要求一般都在650+，GRE則要達到85%+。經濟學和商學院部分專業要求GRE成績。

2. 劍橋大學
對於GMAT成績要求一般都在691+，GRE則要達到80%+，經濟學和商學院部分專業要求GRE成績。並且大部分商科專業都僅接受GRE，不接受GMAT成績。

明確要求提供GRE成績，並且數學部分不得低於161。
Comparative Business Economics MA/Finance MSc
所提供的GRE成績無最低分要求。
提供GRE/GMAT有利於申請的項目：

6. 曼徹斯特大學
曼大商學院MBA專業明確要求申請者需要GRE成績，而曼大的金融和會計的相關碩士專業則強烈建議申請者提交有競爭力的GRE/GMAT成績。
以下專業在申請時不需要提交GMAT/GRE成績，但如果學生的學位課程裡沒有包含足夠的量化模塊，大學可能會在初步審查學生的申請後要求提供GMAT/GRE：

7. 愛丁堡大學
在經濟學碩士申請要求中，雖然並不強製要求提交GRE成績，但官網中仍然給出了成績建議，強調該專業對數理能力的重視，以及期望申請者的Quant成績能夠達到前20%的水平。
